In a positive for the Sharks, Wade Graham returns tonight for what will be his first game of the 2022 season, however in balancing the ledger, Dale Finucane has been ruled out with a minor calf issue.
Graham injured an ankle in his team's final trial match, resulting in an extended period on the sidelines, with the Sharks Grand Final winning back rower to begin the game from the interchange bench against the Broncos at Suncorp tonight .
In addition to Finucane, Andrew Fifita also comes out of the Sharks 17-man line up, with Graham and the versatile Braydon Trindall the replacements.
Both Fifita and Finucane are expected to be available for the Sharks next match, which is against the Warriors on Sunday, May 8.
In other team news, as he did last weekend in the Sharks win over the Sea Eagles, Royce Hunt moves into the starting side, Aiden Tolman shifting back to the bench, with Cam McInnes also into the run on team at lock.
The Sharks v Brisbane match is scheduled for a 7.50pm kick off at Suncorp Stadium.
